Come join us for a discussion with?Dr. Rachel Ignacio, a fellow UWSOM grad with a wealth of global health experience! She has done work and research in Peru, Mozambique, India, Botswana, and Haiti, and will be sharing some of her stories with us. It?ll be an informal event, so you?re welcome to ask questions or find out more about what interests you!

Glenna Martin (MS4/MPH candidate)?will discuss primary care health care guidelines for LGBTQ patients, how to take an ?advanced? sexual history, go over cases, and answer/ask questions in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Plus free rainbow badge stickers and awesome company!

National Health Service Corps, Corp Community Day Celebration??Stronger Communities. Healthier Patients?

Talk with a panel of Washington medical and dental providers about their experiences in rural and urban undeserved communities, learn about the benefits of doing rural rotations, and discover how you can help increase healthcare access for underserved communities.

Still trying to decide if a subspecialty or primary care is for you? Or maybe you are sure that you want to practice primary care, but undecided on what specialty will be the right fit. Come participate in this panel discussion with physician panelists from internal medicine, family medicine, OB/Gyn and pediatrics and learn about what it is really like to practice in these fields. Come enjoy what promises to be a great networking opportunity with docs and fellow students who are passionate about primary care.

Dinner will be served during the panel with a wine and beer Kick-Off Happy Hour to follow!
